    SOLVED Depot Fuzz Helping

It’s definitely subtle, I found that it interacts with the voice control, but is still pretty minimal

    SOLVED Depot Fuzz Helping

No, R11 was the only resistor I changed. I socketed it just in case and returned the 1M resistor. Then I socketed and swapped C3. I definitely prefer the 47nf to the 4.7nf. At this point the pedal sounds wonderful. Also the voice and treble knobs seem to act do more, and interact with each...

    SOLVED Depot Fuzz Helping

So I flipped the transistors and BOOM, Fuzz! Thank you so much :) I can’t really hear any difference on the entire sweep of the treble knob. Should I return R11 to a 1M resistor? Or is that knob very subtle? The voice knob is very defined and audible

    SOLVED Depot Fuzz Helping

I recently built a Depot fuzz, but am having some issues. When I first built it the effect was almost discernible from my dry signal, I checked my values, resoldered everything (especially the transistors) and still the issue persisted. After reading about a wrong screen printed value on R11 I...

    Parenthesis Octave LED

Good morning, I finished my parenthesis last night and boxed it up this morning, and have to say I am so happy with how it turned out!. Everything works and sounds amazing, the only issue is the octave LED doesn’t turn off. The middle foot switch still turns the octave on and off, but the LED...

SOLVED Duo cast Voltage switch Question

It was C9, I can’t believe I overlooked this. But now it works perfectly and sounds great. Thank you so much!

SOLVED Duo cast Voltage switch Question

It was not! Thank you so much, I looked at this board so long I have no idea how I overlooked this. My first backwards component, I’ve switch the jacks before but never a polarized piece. What a great sounding pedal!

    Did you use a LT1054?

SOLVED Duo cast Voltage switch Question

Good evening, So I just finished my Duocast build today it fired right up and sounds amazing, both footswitched work and all 4 knobs go as expected. But when I go to try the voltage toggle I was met with disappointment. It works in the left position but in the right position (27v I believe) it...

    Feedback Loop Diodes

I built a Chela a couple months back and found the pedal to be slightly disappointing. The other day I decide to remove the clipping LEDs and put in some sockets. I then proceeded to try 1N5817s, 1N34As and 1N4001s. i liked each one better than the last, so I’m sticking with the 1N4001s for now...

SOLVED Chela builds have fizz in note decay

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to this forum for helping me get my first two builds going, you were all so helpful and gave me so much wisdom for my next couple builds. I’m sure I’ll be back, but with new mistakes :) I present the Chicken Hawk and the Clever Girl, both Chela pcbs I am...

SOLVED Chela builds have fizz in note decay

Yes she’s the best! She also helped me with my labels since her handwriting is way better than mine. Here’s the finished pedals, came out pretty great for my first ever builds

SOLVED Chela builds have fizz in note decay

I have 2 extra 1N4001s and 2 extra 1N34As, i will probably try and socket the clipping diodes here soon so I can decide what’s best

SOLVED Chela builds have fizz in note decay

Luckily my wife was willing to help and it took about 2 minutes to completely remove, she ran the solder sucker on the back and I’d heat the solder. By myself, it would’ve been a nightmare though

With the new chip the pedal sounds so much better, if your pedal sounds like my video I would guess it’s something similar
