Ya agreed, I wasn't losing any sleep over it either. like I said I'm happy with the way it sounds. But it is nice to have all the information in one thread post for anyone looking for similar information in the future.
So I just got done putting together the Argentum 1212. But I just realized I don't have any information on what the 3 different trim pots are supposed to be set at or where to take reference.
Yeah I think I'll leave it as a reminder. It feels good to know where I start off and how much better and more confident in building.
It's vinyl I printed out using a Cricut cutting machine and the program to ran it on a computer. Just have to find images online or make your own then print out...
Lol glad I'm not alone. I think it was 18awg which I personally think is a bit excessive. I've been using 22awg on pedal builds after that one. Luckily I get all the wire free from work to so I save money well learning.
Thanks!
Ya well kinda, I have one of Cricut cuttings machines. I just look for images online I think would be a good fit for the pedal name I picked. Then load it into the program that comes with the Cricut and it cuts it out.
I'll have to try it again with one of my other dirt pedals. I tried it with the Joyo Uzi, which I think is a rat clone and it didn't really do much for me. It is kind of cool for notes/solos 12th fret and higher. But I don't like that's enough to warrant the limited space on my pedal board. But...
This is the Squidward build. A simple no potentiometer or switch pedal. Not a pedal I use too much. It would probably sound great paired with a fuzz.
In my opinion this pedal is just ok. Maybe octave pedals just aren't my thing. Glad I build it and tried it out. Who knows maybe I'll find a...
If I had one on hand I would definitely consider it. But I'll just have to stick with the B100K for this one. I might have to do a second build in the future with a C100k on the octave for comparison.
This is my chalumeau pedal build. Such a fun pedal to mess around with. It and can get pretty wild and out there but it can also be dialed back to just a simple fuzz. I really like using this a a fuzz with a little delay. Here's a quick 1 minute demo.
