Correct me if I'm wrong @johnk_10, but I believe he drills out unused pads and uses them for stress relief.
The wire is just passing through the board, not actually making an electrical connection to the GND pad.
We switched wishlist plugins a while back, the behavior might have changed with that.
Would you prefer things to be removed from the wishlist when you add them to your cart? That is an option.
There was the Simble, the Simble Predriver (which I think is the boost, maybe?) then the Twimble that appears to be a Simble + Predriver in one.
Now there is the Simble MKII. It looks like a new revision of the original overdrive... maybe.
I don't think Greer is gooping stuff anymore, none of the newer ones I've seen have been gooped that I recall. (Soma, Royal Velvet, Black Mountain, Mizuki)
You're never going to believe this but there are still folks out there using freakin' tubes of glass with all the air sucked out to boost signals.... and they like it that way. ;)
There is no reason you couldn't bias them both using either method.
With the TL072 you can bias the second stage by adding a single 1M resistor from the VREF voltage, rather than needing another pair...
