12 way rotary switch for Flock build

I just got the remaining parts for my flock build, and I'm ready to do the final assembly. I got the recommended 12 way rotary switch from Tayda, I and I think I recall that you are supposed to limit it down to 9 positions. Can anyone give me guidance on how to do that?

if its the same as the 4 way i had from them, you remove the nut from the front and theres a washer with a pin on it, and then there are numbers on the holes to select the number of positions.

Make sure you turn the switch all the way counter-clockwise before setting the limit washer.

Okay, then which slot should I set the limiter in?

You want to put the limiter in the 8th slot, which should be marked 9.

This limits the rotary to 9 positions.
