Does the Promethium (HM-2) have the same power quirk that the original has?

For those that don't know apparently "HM2’s are designed to run on a Boss ACA Power Supply (12v instead of 9v) & so if you don’t use the right supply, they can sound pretty starved. The easiest way to get around this it to wither daisy chain it with another Boss pedal that IS standard 9v DC (PSA Supply) so the Ground Patch internally bypasses the Resistor & Diode that otherwise starve it, run it from a regulated, isolated 12v DC OR just pop a 9v Battery into it."

So can we just run the Promethium 9v or do we have to do one of the tricks above? Thanks!

The Promethium should just be regular 9V, no tricks necessary.

(And modding old ACA Boss pedals to run on regular 9V is always a good idea)
