ok now to get the thing working. I've searched the forums and tried what I could from what I found. Now it's time to ask the experts.
Originally, beautiful signal going through both switch on and bypassed. I did the unity gain mod.
Lamp was bright but didn't pulse and there wasn't much effect to speak of.
Tried making an adjustment and now the light is on but very dim (even with trims at full). still does not pulse.
The switched on signal is now quiet and somewhat distorted.
lamp is always on whether the pedal is switched on or in bypass. Is that normal?
Was in a box, now removed so I can debug.
I've got electrical tape on the back of the speed pots so I don't believe there are any shorts there.
Tried measuring voltages based on some searches in the forum. Not sure if anything is off. On IC4 in pins 3 and 4 I think that should be zero volts. I guess those are where the chip is grounded. pin 4 i have 20mv. Not sure if that's an issue but it's something I found so I'm posting.
Is there a first thing I should look at for a non pulsing lamp?
Any recommendations?
