Sushi box SuperSonic WIP

Yeah definitely don't do that. I would advise keeping inputs and outputs as separate as possible and shielding them. The same goes for the FX loop jacks. Most amp builders will tell you to use shielded wire for gain pot connections as well as that's going to be one of the more sensitive signals.
shielding theI/Os is exactly what I was thinking, but I didn’t know about the gain pots… good call that one would have gotten past me .. thanks again!

Awesome looking build so far! What happened to the Supersonic board on the C2CE site? Was just showing my cousin all of the projects offered while we had thanksgiving dinner, and right after I mentioned that one I realized it wasn’t available anymore.

Don’t quote me on it but I want to say I was reading some where he was revising the project. There is a possibility that I completely imagined that.

this looks about right?
Yup, looks great. Should drop a little with the tubes installed.

As mentioned below Supersonic was sidelined pending a redesign. I decided it was too big, too expensive, and too hard to build. I'm trying to pull it down to three tubes and stick it in a 1590XX. Don't know when it will happen as I have other things on my to-do list, but it will happen.

I think you should make it more rack friendly 🤣… I know, I know, this wasn’t the best idea ,but I’m to dump to know any better.

I don’t think you can use a higher quality of shielded wire Actual Mil-Spec (that term gets thrown around a lot) aerospace grade M27500 . This is what I will use for all the I/Os and gain pots.
