I was fighting for my life trying to come up with a thread title for that, hope it isn’t too confusing
I have built a fuzz face with a regular bypass footswitch on a 4pdt and a pre-gain control that is bypassed by a 3pdt footswitch.
The pre-gain/ channel switch has a 2 color LED to indicate which setting you are on. I would like this to stay lit at all times and use the 4th set of lugs on the bypass footswitch to DIM the LED on the “channel” footswitch.
All so one can see what channel it is set to from across the stage when it’s not on. Trouble is it doesn’t matter which way I wire it, it won’t cooperate. There is another 4.7k resistor on the 4th set of lugs to dim the other LED.
The channel LED works great when the pedal is off. When it is on only one color of the channel LED works. I’ve tried with both common anode and common cathode bi-color LED’s.
Open to all solutions here. Thanks
