Caesar Chorus Vibrato HPF

Howdy,
I've just finished my Caesar Chorus build. My intention is to use it with bass guitar and have noticed that when the blend is fully cw into it's vibrato there is noticeable high pass filtering. Is this normal for this circuit? I don't have any intention on using it this way so it's not a game changer for me considering there is no loss of low end loss anywhere else on the blend. Just thought I'd check before boxing it up.

Waaaayy late, but recently I was looking at this so I’ll put it here in case you’re still wondering. The Caesar does for sure cut low end from the wet (vibrato) signal.

I had been under the impression that the Julia was a work-alike to the Boss CE-2. But the resistors in the mix section seem to make it a different filter cutoff frequency and remove some low end, whereas I believe the CE-2 is full low end.

I experimented with adding a 47nF cap in parallel with my Caesar build C17 (33n) and it brought back the full low end in the vibrato signal. But i don’t mind the low end cut on guitar so I left it as is in my build.

Interestingly, according the the Hobby hour site write up, the Boss CE-2B for bass changes the filter in this area (by reducing the cap where C17 would be from 33n to 12n. This has a very similar effect as a low end cut of the Julia. The Boss thinking is that by removing some low end from the wet side, the final sound has a stronger, more present low end from just the dry signal, not washed out.

So both the CE-2 and Julia have a 33n at the C17 (Caesar numbering) spot, but the resistors are different, so the filter cutoffs are different. I’d be curious if Walrus did this on purpose, or if it was an accident when they added the blend circuit.
 
Based on the recommendation above, I pulled the 33n at C17 and installed a socket. Plugging a 82n into this location brought the low end back to the vibrato signal. Thanks @phi1!
