Muroidea build no sound when engaged

Hi all. I’m sure this is a common scenario but I am building the Muroidea and I am not getting anything when the pedal is engaged. I have triple checked all of my components for accuracy. The LED works and I get signal to my amp when true bypass is doing its thing when the pedal is switched off. The only parts I had to swap out were the op amp and the JFET transistor, but I checked the forums and read that both were acceptable swap out options. I had to use a TL071 op amp and a 2N5457 JFET since Tayda did not have the required parts in stock. I will start by posting some pics of the board itself. More pics will be available upon request.

thru hole 2n5457's in this day and age always make me weary, where did you source it from?

also there are quite a few scorched/exposed spots on top (the output trace could be damaged), I'd like to see the bottom. How hot are you running your iron?

don't make the pics available upon request just post them, I can't see any of the offboard wiring which could be a problem

The 2N5457 was sourced from Tayda like all of the other parts. The site was recommended by a few videos I watched on YouTube. The iron doesn’t have heat control. It was a mandatory purchase for an electronics class in college where we built our own mic pre’s. And yes, mine did work. It’s a 25 watt 60 hertz iron. The scorched items are actually flux. I had to desolder my pots and reorientate them and that was the aftermath. I’ve cleaned up the board a bit and removed most of it. I will add some wiring pics but it may not be crystal clear on what’s going on in them. This is my first build so I’ve had to learn a lot of things at a stage a bit too late.
