Purple Chorus (Analog Bi Chorus) board for sale anywhere?

Hi there, has anyone a Purple Chorus (Analog Bi Chorus) board for sale or knows where I could get one please?

Just before he released his Purple Chorus, I had worked up a dual/stereo chorus of my own. Using two heavily modified Small Clone clone PCBs from GuitarPCB, I managed to create the 'Stereophonic Gizmotronic Symphonic Harmonic Perambulator Dual Chorus'. While Cees' Purple Chorus uses a single MN3207 BBD chip, mine uses two of either the MN3007 or MN3207 BBD chips one on each of the two PCBs.



If you want to build up one of these, I can provide more details and put you in touch with Spencer at AmplifyFun to get a finished, printed enclosure if you like.

And I would do my own enclosure graphics since shipping from US costs an arm and a leg to down here.

I've got extra Ibanez BC-9 boards, if you are interested. Similar foundation as the Purple; you would just have to mod in all the extra switches and such.

Me too.

I got an IG-message from Cees just before he passed; he was going to send me the files.
Alas, I'm not on IG much and didn't see the request for my email address in time.

I don't know how others feel about it, but I think it would be a tribute to his legacy to fab up some new boards and build them in tribute.

@Cybercow Do you still have board and build documents for your project? I’ve been interested in the the “Purple” but doesn’t seem a layout or pcb exists. I bout a used Ibanez BC-9 bi mode chorus but they ranges were a little wild and they chorus didn’t blend well together. It was noisy as well.

@Cybercow Yea I’ve seen the build docs. Thats what led me on a wild goose chase to find a cob. A shame there’s no pcb available but maybe one day we will see one. I’m not advance enough to create a proper layout.

I’m not familiar with Skidmark Pedals story except that he passed. My deepest sympathy to his family and all that knew him. From the sounds I heard on his demo, even on compressed YouTube recording, he must’ve really known what he was doing. The pedal sounded absolutely killer.
