First Tayda UV Design

I just "finished" my first UV print design. If someone could let me know if anything looks way off, it would be much appreciated as I am literally two days into Illustrator! Thanks

This is for a Unicab with white enclosure, BTW. I'll remove the drill template layer from the final vector once I figure out how :)

That's not going to work. You need to create outlines for all the fonts, i. e. convert them to shapes. The white layer can only contain the color RDG_WHITE from the Roland swatch provided here: https://www.taydaelectronics.com/datasheets/UVprinting/RolandVersaWorks.ai There can't be any white in the color layer. Also, it's recommended to copy everything from the color layer to the white layer and convert it to RDG_WHITE as a base layer. This helps get a more consistent and richer color print.

Thanks lowpitch. It's a lot of absorb but I will be reading up.

Is using a white bottom layer for non-white graphics recommended on a white enclosure as well? I guess it probably wouldn't hurt.

I'd recommend it simply because it takes the enclosure colour and texture out of the equation. It may be fine in this particular case, but as you said, it won't hurt.

Ok I believe I have corrected everything needed...the subtract front is still kind of iffy. I really appreciate the help with this!
That looks better. You can use the pathfinder tool to expand the compound shapes with the text cut outs, then click "minus front" to permanently cut out the shapes from the background.
