This one's got a few changes, the biggest being my use of a Tesla TL080 clone for the chip. Comp cap is 33pf.
Wanted to try to get some DOD Grunge flavor out of it, and I think I got pretty close
LED clippers, t filter across C9, which I increased to 27n. Filter values are 10k resistors, and a 47n cap to ground. This gives about 6db scoop around 450hz
R3 reduced to 470R for a smidge more low end gain
C3 increased to 2.7u to the shift the primary cutoff frequency down a lil bit
R7 increased to 2.7k to kill a bit of the ultra highs.
Playing through a Fender FM212R, so the midscoop seems deeper than it is
Using the high slew rate Jfet Opamp definitely brings the biggest changes. A lot more treble content, clearer low end and wider dynamic range. It's different, but I had fun with it, and think it sounds pretty damned good. Stacking it with the trad Rat is quite a joy, but my neighbors think I'm an asshole
