The Effectslayouts.com Odd One Out in a banana yellow enclosure with green chicken heads, hand painted and epoxy coated. This build is super easy and always love the PCB layouts and build documents, makes things smooth and easy. I built this a while back and while playing around with it before filming, the oscillation came in when the drive was turned up quite a bit with both switches engaged. No big deal, right? Just dial back the gain and get back to playing…..

I should have stopped and took a look at the website that has the updated build docs to fix that issue… I didn’t. Instead, I barreled forward riffing and gibbering like an idiot. Fast forward to this morning, the video is edited and uploaded and I finally check the website to get links for the PCB and I see that little nugget in the build docs. Now I want to make a video tearing this thing apart and correcting the issue along with swapping out the quad op amp for tone! Anyone interested?

Starting back up to making videos this year, the one thing that had to happen was raising the quality along with being able to consistently get videos out. Starting out the new year, I filmed the first batch of videos, four pedals with build reports in two days and then spent weeks getting all of the footage compiled and edited and turned into something of videos. That worked well but there was a few headaches along the way that were addressed and changes were made to the next batch of videos, the Transmog Delay and Odd One Out were part of the second batch. There is one more video in that cannon and then work starts on batch three!

Hope all is well, back to the grind!

Hey dude, I've built this pedal with both the RC4558 (PPCB Oddity) and the original IC RC3403. (Aion Corona, Can be swapped with TL074 or NE5514)

I've found that I like the sound of the RC3403 slightly better. It's got a tad more skanky lo-fi character to it that's really cool.

I have a spare RC3403 that I don't foresee ever using in anything. Lemme know if you want to try it and I can pop it in the mail to you. Just DM me. Great video as always brother!

Thank you sir! I might have to check and see what I have around here.... I haven't really built much lately but there are still 40 enclosures with populated boards sitting in my closet just waiting to go.
Always love your vids man, you put so much effort into them. I think that’s an aspect that never gets the accolades it deserves.
Hearing you say that means the world. Its a slow crawl but everyone of them is a bit better than the last.
Dave taught me basic eagle stuff.
His website is outstanding and offers up so much great information, beyond that he is a really good dude.
Yay another dk pedals video! Noice!
February was a weird month but I am back on track and making videos, new haircut and all.
