KiCad "shaped" resistor footprints?

The default resistor footprints in KiCad are basically just rectangles. This, at-a-glance, makes them look very similar to the box film capacitor footprints.

It appears other programs have "shaped" resistor footprints. For example, I think all PedalPCB PCB resistor footprints are not rectangles, but have the "classic through-hole resistor outline".

Does anyone have/is anyone aware of KiCad resistor footprints that have the distinct (i.e. not-rectangular) shape?

I just rolled my own. It was easier in the end.

Yes, diy is the way. You should also make the fp smaller to not always get errors in the drc when using the standard 2.54mm grid
