So I'm calling these more recent builds the "good enough for rock n roll" series. Not pretty, but I put work into it and boogered the execution, as I'm wont to do.
This is my layout of the Madbean Bacon Bits circuit. A cool little boost for perfect breakup on small amps like mine.
In the fallout universe, 'brahmin' are just mutated, two-headed cows. Haven't heard mention of pigs, so I'm assuming they're extinct, just like horses, on that timeline, so non bacon bacon bits it is.
Etching away some specialized masking tape and painting has its pitfalls. Rattle can paint, and white paint for some reason, isn't as viscous as I think it should be. Even the smallest gaps where the tape hasn't made contact are those blotchy bits.
Additionally, you'll notice the cut/melted away bits on the jacks. Guess who did it once, forgot which side it was to go on, and then had to do it again, after it was all wired...
Also heat curing with the tape is problematic, which is probably a no-brainer for most, but now I know for sure. Maybe there's run for improvement and iteration. …Or maybe it's a pipe dream : P
edit: credit where it's due, in addition to the circuit, the Madbean 1590G series is a direct source for the main board shape, since that's pretty much all that would fit in this G enclosure.
