Pedal Family Trees?

so I found a lot of pedals are based on classic pedals but with some kind of change. Some minor some major. Is there any resource that shows what pedals are based on a Big Muff? or Tube Screamer? or Rat? How can I find what pedals use pieces of these classic circuits and others? I kinda just want to know if I'm making a variant of a classic circuit or if it's it's own thing.

PPCB isn't as detailed as others when it comes to describing PCBs in this way

Your best bet is to research the "classics" under the hood and be able to discern the different topologies. A muff looks VERY different than a rat or tubescreamer on a schematic. Then start branching out from there. You biggest hurdle, IMO, will be fuzz territory unless you do your homework on what came first. Once you can quickly identify a circuit category you can then dive in to see what that designer did differently (more controls, different component values, etc.).

I've said it in other posts: there really isn't an "original" circuit anymore but rather tweaked circuit LEGOS stuck together.

I found this pretty helpful for the fuzz side of things. To my knowledge there really isn't a comprehensive "Family Tree" out there.

It’s wild how much of the Overdrive section is either a Tube Screamer, a Timmy, or a Bluesbreaker. Still, gotta build ‘em all. Signed, a guy who has a dozen Big Muffs and about as many Tone Bender Mk. IIIs.
Screamers seemed like the funnier joke, but TBH my pedal drawer is mostly Muffs.
