Hello everyone!


My name is Mario, and I’m currently writing my master’s thesis at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten in the degree program 3D Audio & Sound Design.


In my thesis, I’m investigating the tonal differences between two fuzz pedals – specifically, how different components affect sound and whether technical parameters can be described using assigned attributes.


For this purpose, I have created an anonymous survey with listening test that takes about 15 minutes. It’s about your personal experiences, preferences, and how you perceive certain sonic characteristics.

I thought it was a fun survey. Would be a nice way to hone in on fuzz sounds you like without seeing what they are up front.
 
This might be mighty late, but I just realised my website is not totally responsive. So if anyone had trouble doing the test on their smartphone, it works on your laptop or desktop computer.
