I have really enjoyed Amified Parts’ layouts. They are fun to make and can make some great sounding fuzz. The hardest part is finding the right transistors. I got a bunch of Russian transistors from alexer1 on eBay. They are good transistors, but they don’t have much leakage. With these, I breadboarded the circuit and end up using a resistor from the base to collector to mimic some leakage. It took a little bit of tweaking, but worth it.
Now, for the good stuff…..The enclosure…..I am afraid to disclose my source…. It is like have a good babysitter….Once you tell your friends, the babysitter will be too busy to help you….
Regardless, Chicken Wing Audio @steviejr92 did a fabulous job. The enclosure mixes a vintage vibe with modern specs. The powder coating is excellent and the screen printing is exactly as I envisioned. Many thanks for him doing the enclosures. I will have some more to show, so I will get back to building.
