1u half rack enclosures?

Anybody know of a source for 1u full rack and half rack enclosures? Antique electronic supply has some but they are $150+. Couldn’t find anything on mousers site but I probably just didn’t search correct parameters.

Good rack enclosures are $$$… but you can find budget boxes

I used this one it’s not bad , the front and back channels can be a little tight depending on what it is you are trying to mount.

I don’t know about half rack, but lots of used or broken 1u 19” gear out there for less than 150. Depending what you’re looking to build you might be able to slap a new faceplate on some old junk. Might come with some useable jacks and knobs too.

I’ve used both for a variety of DIY builds, with the latter you need to read between the lines very carefully but the workmamship is quite good.

If you want to go all in on front panel graphcs I highly recommend Front Panel Express in Seattle. They do UV printing now as well, but I love their old school engraving/infilling process.
