Dip switch orientation

Dumb question…
I’m building the Pauper and I would like to verify the dip switch orientation before soldering. Does the on position align to the left as it is in my photo or to the right? Or does it matter?

It doesn't matter, ON will be ON regardless of how you orient the switch.

As you have it. So you flip the switch to the label to engage

Either works. But only one way works for my brain

You'd want to get it right when the PCB has labels on the silkscreen.
