I was just reading this post, and decided I wanted some of those washers @johnk_10 has been using on his LED lenses.

it was kind of difficult to find a thin stainless steel washer that was exactly 1/4" to fit the fresnels. They also work great for using a washer on the mini switches. the one that i'm using was from Mcmaster-Carr. here's the link to it: https://www.mcmaster.com/94773A710/

I was ready to drop $12 for 50 washers, but it's gonna be another $12 to ship them which is annoying...

Got any recommendations for something else I can drop in my cart to justify shipping it?
 
The ole mcmaster tax. Yes, they have everything. Yes, you'll pay dearly.
I have puchased these washers and they work great, if metric will suffice. I like them for outer washers for footswitches and sometimes jacks. Small enough to hid under the nut but still provide protection from scratches. For $12 you can get 10 sizes in 50pc lots.
0.25 in is between M6 and M7
 
I got those thumb screws from McMaster.

I have a list of oddball hardware parts I need to take to McMaster, but their Chicago location is only 25 minutes from my work so I can pick up in person.

Great! I've been meaning to order one of those Mirage Tremolo PCBs. Maybe you can pick me up some washers and a couple of those hot dogs people are always talking about, and throw those in there.

I could definitely pick up hardware and throw it in, but unfortunately hot dogs (especially Chicago style) don't travel well.
 
I got some of these socket head screws a while back for eurorack stuff. $5.42+$7.32 shipping for a pack of 100.

Just a FYI for mcmaster, in the past I have put "ship with USPS" in my order notes and saved a few bucks on shipping vs the shown UPS rate or whatever when I knew it was something very small.
