RAT - What's with these filters?

Oh, that's different than the one I have (I have Revision I). Gotta grab em all.

RAT - What's with these filters?

I don't think so. DIST just sets the feedback resistance for the non-inverting op-amp gain. Sounds likely. I'm guessing the red filter is to reject radio interference?

    Distortion & Delay Combined

mn3007 is a bucket brigade--I would consider this analog, not digital. I think you'd want two status leds, one for delay and one for distortion. And two switches to control them independently. Then you're basically gonna be laid out like any combo pedal (king of tone, pro-10, sproing deluxe...

    NPN vs PNP

This can help you with wiring a charge pump. Mounted to your switch then you can tap the -9V pad for your circuit. 3PDT Charge Pump Board - PedalPCB.com

    NPN vs PNP

What circuit are you working with? I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but is it how to do something like this? Positive Power for the PNP Fuzzface (muzique.com)

    PSA - more bad TL072s

I found this really interesting article on the subject: https://therepaircafe.wordpress.com/2021/03/20/in-defense-of-the-lm358/ There's also a video linked there that shows how to test your IC with either scope or meter.

    Latching vs non-latching Relay

you don't have to--the circuit does (hence the current draw)

Blu Tack vs Blue Painters Tape

    PSA - more bad TL072s

I've been paranoid ever since I read this, but never got around to checking ones I had until today. I have two with code 07A5LQM. Just one character less from a fake one! These were in my stash, but I may have used some from the same batch in builds. So far I haven't had any that don't...

    AliExpress Transistors

You are taking a lot of risk, but if you can buy a small quantity you should try it (and of course let us know). Sometimes even if they don't work out you can find a use (e.g. using as clipping diodes).

SOLVED Dielectric boost - no change when boost channel is engaged

These connections look a bit suspect to me, especially the one on the right. There's some like that on your switch board too. @Feral Feline's advice is solid. Wait for your new soldering iron, it should give you better control of the heat.

    Gloryhole: Is this it?

Hmm, doesn't sound quite right. It's not a high gain pedal, but it sounds like you're only getting clean boost. You should be getting clipping overdrive with the gain up.

    j113 and 2n5458 from tayda?

I was pleasantly surprised that the 2n5458 I got from them was perfectly in spec. Sample size of 1 though, so can't vouch for all of them.

    Distortion 250 schematic noob questions

Change C1 to 1.5N put a 15pf piggyback on R2 (I doubt this changes anything though) R3 to 5.6K (this won't really change sound) C5 to 1.5N use germanium diodes for D1/D2 use C500K for gain pot and A10K for level (you could use A100K for level just fine too) There's no pull down on the PPCB board.
