I'd actually be more interested in which pedals end up on our pedal boards. I personally have built about 30 pedals since I started this journey, but only one of them has ended up on my gigging board.

I'm with @Robert on this one. You really need a hot air gun to remove it. Yes, you could use a hot plate, but using a clothes iron as a hot plate without having any way to measure the actual temperature seems like a recipe for disaster.

What is your base coat? Is it spray paint? If so, what kind? I don't really see what you're talking about in the upper right hand corner (I see the fading in the upper left hand corner around the control knobs), but otherwise it seems like an issue with your paint job and not your waterslide...
