    SOLVED General Tso Help

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! This is probably my 30th build or so. So as you can imagine I'm frustrated with myself. I attached a link showing the in and out jacks. I'll go back through and look for solder bridges. Thats the only think I can even think of. It's bizarre that the...

    SOLVED General Tso Help

Hello, I just finished up a build on a General Tso tonight and its not working properly. The footswitch wire is bizarre to me and for some reason I see to be getting continuity from ground to the Tip on the input jack? As far as I can tell I have everything wired correctly. UPDATE Electrovibe help!

It seems to work find now except if you turn either of the speed pots too far the bulb kind of flashes then stays solidly lit. It also seems to flash really bright when pressing the footswitch that controls the speed. Any ideas? Maybe a bad L78L12? Of course this is the one build I didnt use...

    UPDATE Electrovibe help!

My only other thing is maybe a bad Yep! They work as they are intended. I was using my DMM to check for shorts and what not and noticed if I touch the center lugs of the speed footswitch it causes the solid lit lamp to start flashing at the full speed per the potentiometers setting.

    Leprechaun Questions

Thanks for the quick reply! Thats what im trying to achieve, the magic switch works only when holding the switch. I've never used a momentary switch before, is there a specific way it needs wired and would it need to be "normally open" or "normally closed? Thanks again!

    Leprechaun Questions

Hello, I apologize of this has been covered already, but can you use a momentary switch for the magic footswitch? If so does it need a relay, I noticed an older post that used relays for the Leprechaun build. Thanks in advance!
