It sounds like your diodes might be leaky? I think mine does this too since I used some Russian D9 diodes. I could be reading your symptoms incorrectly though. I believe there are others who have talked about this on the forum. Maybe searching the troubleshooting forum for other Bellum builds...

I love doing this with my Octavia. It makes for some really cool 8 bit synthy sounds. And then your roll in more volume and it's a completely different beast.

With a good solder sucker I would maybe be willing to try it. Not one of the plastic things. But also I'd be careful to give it some time between desoldering pads so you don't roast the chip.

Looks better than my first fv-1 and mine worked so I think you'll be fine.

If the amp has an effects loop I think you can just put the return of the loop into the input of the delay and the output goes into the send.
