    Max transistors?

I think of the blond SG Custom that Mike Nesmith used in Circle Sky. Great guitar! I think Jimi had one also.

Equivalents of most if not all those parts are still able to be bought today. Look like decent parts though.

Getting Solder out of pcb holes

Chem-Wick is the brand I like best and it works excellently. There are lots of generic brands of solder wick out there that won't wick up solder because they SUCK! Lol! Honestly, many types are really worthless for absorbing solder. Chem-Wick works really well though.

Finishing Kilimanjaro - Measuring / Biasing

The 1M resistor is just a starting place. Your Q1 has very little leakage and Q1 in a TB Mk1 needs leakage in order to pass signal and work. Same with the Kilimanjaro circuit. The 1M resistor simulates transistor leakage for Q1. This is where breadboarding the circuit would come in handy...

Box film in place of MLCC

Polyester for guitar stuff Polypropylene for audiophile stuff Polystyrene for super audiophile stuff I don't use teflon because I'm not cool enough (I'm too cheap)

Finishing Kilimanjaro - Measuring / Biasing

Yeah, what you bought from Small Bear is a set for a TB Mk3 or 3 knob TB which is a different beast. Out of that set you bought from SB, try switching Q2 & Q3 around. For Q1 use something with gain of 60-80 and leakage of 200-350ua, maybe more. You could use the Q1 from that SB set but you will...

Finishing Kilimanjaro - Measuring / Biasing

The Kili is an offshoot of a Tone Bender MK1/Zonk Machine. This circuit is finicky with transistors. Here are my observations on TB MK1 transistors: https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/tone-vendor-bender-mk1-some-observations.7415/

Box film in place of MLCC

MLCC would be better as it's filtering out high frequency CP hash. But the difference probably wouldn't be noticable to the human ear. MLCC is best for power supply decoupling and high frequency shunting. Box or mylar is best for where audio is passing through.

    HI-Z Mod on Pedals. Help!

Wouldn't the capacitor you select to simulate the cable length be put across the output jack (parallel) ? The cable is acting as a capacitor shunt to ground, to attenuate high frequency.

Glow in the dark Caesar Chorus

To the OP: I like the way you mounted the LED, it makes it look like a search light on a ship looking for dangerous sea monsters.

Glow in the dark Caesar Chorus

Glow in the dark paint absorbs the uv radiation, it excites the pigment contained within the paint. That is what makes the paint "glow".

    Duo Phase Deluxe

Here's a couple of videos of this pedal. No expression pedal is used but I think he goes through the different phase stages: Crappy cell phone video but I had the DPD hooked up as one guitar in and two outs for stereo

    Tone Stacks - Part 2 - James & Baxandall

Very interesting, thanks for posting this. I always thought that the James and Baxandall were the same but I guess they're not. BTW, the Fender "G" (not G-A) brownface amps used these type of tone controls, but only for a short time before they converted to the "G-A" brown face Amps that had a...

    Duo Phase Deluxe

I forgot to add this for anyone looking to add an expression pedal to theirs. See attached pic. Also, a +/-5 volt supply needs to be added on a small piece of perfboard. The +5 goes to the "tip" of the expression pedal jack and the -5 goes to the "sleeve" of the jack. The PCB "hole" that...

Nice! I'm looking forward to getting mine built to see what it does. Could you provide a link to the thread at diystompboxes where you troubleshot this? Thanks.
