But… it’s a lot cooler of you turn the switch 90° to point to which side is first.

Maybe, I’ll have to ask my friend. It should just be a matter of swapping out the jack and wiring it like normal. It’s been a long day and I’m overthinking this.

Seems like I should know this. Is there anything making this circuit unable to swap the power jack? Or would I have to swap some cap orientations as well?

Holy resurrection, Batman, but check this out. This just came in, and evidently the previous owner never used the FX loop so he “fixed” the jack by doing this. I mean, it works ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I live Chuck’s changes for this Bass Klon. It’s one of my favorites.
