Hey all - the original question about Mouser was answered ages ago... the thread was brought up by another user for a recent purchase from a different source...

I think I'm going to need a least one "mid-range" build before I tackle one though... that wiring diagram is amazing... I've been thinking about the 18W TMB as sort of a next step up, but I haven't decided yet...

I would love to build one of the Hiwatts one of these days... finding a place to play it may be more challenging... lol

THANK YOU to everyone for the input!!!!! Swapping the blue and red wires fixed it right up. I'm doing the 60 minute burn in at this point, but the dang thing even outside the cabinet sounds better than the little Champion 20 solid state I'd been using upstairs...

I haven't tried swapping the red and blue yet - will try it this evening with the clean-up mentioned and cross my fingers... :D

Chuck - I know it's your avatar and all, but you are indeed a wizard... I just got my layout of this one populated and tested... and dang... another amazing one...

Extra eyes are always awesome... unless they're growing out of your head... So in addition to the photos above, here's some more detail photos. Let me know if you want anything else... pixels are cheap!

There's a couple above, and I can get you more pictures if needed. I've run continuity test and the connections appear to be clean... but I'm going to go through them again...

It's there, it was just hiding... That being said, I've been digging around and I can't seem to find a path that I can actually isolate and measure this 22K resistor (I only see the 1.5K which actually measures 1.39K): Going back to the schematic, it looks like there is some tortuous path...

I should be able to adjust the 5W - I think I left enough play in the leads... (Edit: Done - a craft stick will fit between them now - thanks for the tip!)
