I think the picture I posted is only showing the parts on the board related to differences listed in the chart next to it but maybe a slight older revision

You can use a regular 3dpt bypass for most of the VFE builds, but there are a few that use the charge pump for extra headroom. The MCU chip is just for the fancy relay switching
I got frustrated and put this thing in a box and let it sit for a long while. I pulled it out today did an audio probe and jumpered the trace where the audio stopped. Wha-La, it's working now.

Have you tried another opamp for the phase section?
From the descriptions of the issue, it sounds like the lfo bottom is hitting a limit. The question is then... the limit of what?
This is what I hear repeated thru the intro. It's not anywhere else in the song. I don't think an analog octave down could accomplish that. It sounds like one of these digital harmonizers was programmed on a note by note basis to output this melody. Crazy stuff.
Interesting. Could be it but It honestly doesn't sound like a glitchy whammy type octave. I have a whammy 2 and in the past had the other IPS33 rack version, both with the IVL chip and they have a sound all there own
