If it stops bypassing when power is engaged, then something is shorting out somewhere. Did you try reflowing all solder joints, and making sure there’s no solder bridges anywhere?

Yeah that 3pdt board probably isn’t going to work! Depending on how the traces are laid out. I would fix that to at least make sure that’s not the issue.

Make sure there’s no shorts in the lugs of the stomp switch, and the lugs connecting the stomp switch breakout board to the main board. A lil piece of stray wire, or even some fluxes can really cause ya nightmares!

that LED is supposed to go on the other side of the board, like the pots, thru a hole in the enclosure, so you can see when the circuit is on.

It says ‘blend’ on the PCB.

That shouldn’t affect the EQ. the letters only tell you what the taper is.

Is ALL the flux cleaned off the back of the board?? And, even the front to some extent. I always make sure the back is super clean, and the front is decently clean. That’s what I would check first, if I had the problem you have right now.
