if the receiving end is higher number(16+ ohm)than the transmitter(the 4~8ohm of most amps/radios)no worries, it's goign the otehr way things get wonky and burn out.

I'd double check the tracing, but nothing says you SHOULD have to put qa switch in a particular way... wouldn't it end up just mirrored and a little twist on the wires?

aye, if an odball resistor/cap comes up I just look at the broader tolerances.. like using a carbon(5%) resistor instead of metal(1%)... also lists a 4nf cap... no such thing exists in current production AT ALL!!

How often do you receive the wrong items in an order? I just got a OPA2604AP op amp instead of the lm311 I had ordered.. not complaining because even tayda lists it as a $3+ IC let alone what the company who sent it to me. Anybody know which circuits this IC can be used for? can it be same...

I have fun populating boards, I hate when I either have a>run out of parts(usually resistors) or b>a supplier sent me the wrong part.. which leads to my next thread.

I'd move the blue and green wires to the sides of the board before messing with other parts. they're likely picking up all sorts of stray emf from the IC's.

Interesting.. I was contemplating making something similar to 1 of our esteemed members schmorg but hand operated( I play seated) and it IS easier/cheaper to get light touch momentary spst push buttons than 3pdt toggles. what changes would be needed for a 12/18v effect?

aye, last 2 fet based phasers, I just got few dozen smd on adapter boards from Aion and used the simple matcher circuit on most diy forums, likely not the 'right' results but anything within 5% was made a group and IF, and I did find, some were within 1 point(752,753.. etc) it's what I used and...
