    double check that electro caps that has negatives facing opposite direction.... a lot of the time Roberts layouts have all the negatives facing the same direction... always go with what the silkscreen shows

    you could also hit the trannies with the hot glue goo when using sockets to get a little piece of mind.. it's reversible if ever needed.... but yeah... get a cheap tester and test the pinout... then full send with an iron is the way to go

    sort of.. you could but really the trimmer is there for a fixed resistance point because of tolerances with other parts in the circuit.... technically you could find the sweet spot.. pull the trimmer and measure it's resistance then place a fixed resistor in place....
