The harbor freight press is $60 and works fine. Just don’t leave it outside on your balcony when you live a block from the ocean. The main pole gets rusty but still works fine otherwise ??

It’s such a small circuit, try socketing the Q and cap to see how much that affects the sounds. You can always permanently solder it w/o the socket once you dial it in.

Also check the drill diameter before drilling. The size for the stock PedalPCB DC Jack is the small version. A lot of them are a much larger barrel diameter. The small ones only have 2 poles as opposed to 3 on the larger jacks. But the small ones that have 2 prongs are able to fit the 3 way...

Yeah those should work. I never find the nut on the outside. Congrats! I still don’t know the preference as to why most nuts are inside the enclose. I feel like it has to do with pulling on the plug but would love to hear someone with a better opinion!

Those Tayda ones are pretty standard for DC power. You do have to put the nut on the inside. So you will have to resolder the DC connection once you put in in an enclosure. But I’ve gotten so used to doing that now it will soon be normal troubleshooting if need be. Good luck!

That’s weird that it doesn’t cut the volume when I place it after the dboard in the signal chain. Only when it’s inside the circuit of the arrows. But thanks for the LBP1 schematic. I figured I’d need some sort of buffer to fix.

Thanks for the help. That totally fixed the problem. DMM showed where I had flooded a top lug to a center lug underneath the board. All good now. And a very useful hint for troubleshooting LED issues in the future.

Well this is a first. Everything else works fine in this Amentum boost that’s a combo with a SHO and a tone pot. But I can’t get the LED to turn off and on. It just stays on. Weird. I assume it’s a ground issue. I tried retouching the GND leg from the PCB to the D-board on the 3PDT. Any other...

I’m just about to build this and the resistors all look like they should be 1/8 instead of 1/4w. I see that folks have used 1/4 above in the gut shot and I’m sure I can manage, but are we all using too large of components? Even the silkscreen looks like the 1/8w design for the smaller body size.

Yeah that’s a super grear reverb from Fuzz dog with the deep dwell options for pots and caps. My favorite reverb so far.

Chalemaeu has a lot of pitch, chorus and distortion. And it’s all dynamic sensitive to your picking. Try it out. Very fun.
