This look legit for a 42TL series Xicon transformer? I swore I'd only buy such things from legit distributors like Mouser, but they were so much cheaper on Amazon. The primary sides measure 500+Ω rahter than 700+Ω. The secondaries are 400+Ω rather than 500. Should I be concerned?

Oh man, thanks for the encouragement. I can't even remember where I left off. I opened it and found I'd socketed the infamous DNL resistor. It was loaded with a 4M7 but I found all values did nothing. Finally put a 470Ω in R60 and recalibrated to no avail. I must've just built the thing wrong...

Only difference seems to be the primary and secondary resistances.

Insufficient power when running 2 current-hungry devices from the same power daisy chain? Maybe try a separate power supply for the double tracker. (Wild guess.)

A larger primary resistance is harder to drive? Resulting in less gated cutout when the transformer is overdriven? Or smaller core is easier to saturate? I imagine any answer would be along the lines of “it doesn't @!#?@! matter; use the part you have on hand.”

Whoops, I bought the 42TM018 for my Topographer, and when I went to build it discovered the BOM calls for the smaller footprint 42TL218. Both have the same winding ratio (10k to 10k ratio from primary to secondary.) So I'm sure it will work, but will it sound as good? What I know: Transformer...
