The third bands on these don't look very red to me, but they also look like what you've got in R11, so maybe it's just the paint/ picture/ lighting, and those are all correct.

R6 should be red, red, black, orange, brown R10 should be brown, black, black, red, brown

Same question on the fourth band of R9. Should be red for 47k, but looks brown there which would be 4.7k

R11 should be 10k - brown, black, black, red, brown. Looks like that one might be 1k? Reds and browns can be tricky in pictures though.

Yeah! I’m glad you added those pics. Looks to me like your jacks are backwards. If you look close you can see where the terminals connect to. Guitar signal is on the tip, so your signal wire to the footswitch should connect to the long part of the jack that touches the cable tip.

When the pedal is not activated, the only things in the circuit are the footswitch and the input and output jacks. I’d start there and solve that problem before going any further. Your wiring connections look right to me, but it sounds like something isn’t right,

Take some pictures and post them here. General advice - first check all the wires are going to the right places. If you’re lighting the LED and getting bypass signal, you did at least most of that right. Second, go through and verify each part on the board. Use the color codes on the...

I'd be curious to see a pic that shows the orientation of that smd adapter, and maybe some that show all the pins of that middle opamp made it into the socket.

Yeah, I've read some of those horror stories. Sadly the extra cost and potential headache is pushing that particular guitar off my shopping list I think.

Any drill press is a lot better than no drill press. Any of those you linked look totally fine for making holes in aluminum boxes. I'd even question whether you'd do just as well with the smallest one instead of the next size up. I guess I'd just want to make sure you could fit an enclosure...
