    Chop shop quick question

It's to accomodate 2 different sizes of bias pots. You can use non-3362p, you can use whatever fits. These kind fit too https://www.taydaelectronics.com/potentiometer-variable-resistors/trimmers/6mm-top-adjustment/50k-ohm-trimpot-variable-resistor-6mm.html The pads above are to probe the...

    Mach1 Clipping question

I think you should've put this in a troubleshooting forum ;) Quickly looking at your wiring, I think you've just connected D3 to the switch? That's not going to work here (unless you only wanted to sub what is in D3, but looking at switch I don't think that's what you intended). Can you...

A multimeter that can read frequencies over 50hz

I use that one, and I was able to calibrate my flange pedal with it (that needs to measure 500khz)

    1s1588 Test

or just try different diodes until it sounds like you want it to sound. seems easier than tracking down a vintage pedal just to unsolder components and measure.

    Birthday Card Fuzz

This is the Madbean BCFUZZ (stands for "business card", but in this case it's for birthday). The theme is birthday cake and sprinkles. This pcb was freebie that bean gave with some order a while ago. I never built it because I didn't need another Fuzz Face. But when I heard my friend is...

    Old profile gone

Remember in the 90s when chat rooms were a thing? I knew a guy who used to start a room, then use multiple of his accounts to get the chat room active, hoping a woman would join, where then he could hit on them. Little did he know that the women were statistically likely to be guys just like...

Cornerstone Gladio Gut Shot - Authenticity?

Now that I compare the original (posted by Robert and on tgp) to some of the fakes here, what stands out is that the fakes have brand name at the bottom edge of the pcb. The OPs has a serial number (or something) there. But the originals are all blank there. Starting to be more suspicious.

Help me choose a bass compressor circuit...

I don't know which ones are good, but I built a bass player a Orange Squeezer and they didn't like that one. I forget why, but it's a simple one knobber and probably not tweakable to get the sound they wanted.

    A few Sproing Deluxe questions

Yes, and either (just make sure it's not a super-bright--the red 5mms at tayda are, so I'd probably use 3mm)

    Something like the Carbon Copy

If your artist is ok with digital delays, then a pt2399 based delay is an easy choice. Of the pedalpcb offerings, I've tried Magnetron and Cataclysm. While I slightly liked the tone of the Cataclysm better, if modulation is a must-have then Magnetron is a no brainer. Does this person like...
