    The square pad for Diodes

Can someone please tell me the orientation of the 2 diodes I've got circled in this picture. It only shows a square pad but I don't know if that's the anode or cathode Help an old man aspire to ..... something better. You could hold the key to my albatross which weighs heavy on my soul. Hey...

Art vs no art for resale

"I think my issue is that I box up every circuit, even if it doesn’t suit me. Afterwards, I feel guilty for not playing it and feel obligated to sell it. It may be best to rig a better audition set up and only box the pedals that I want to keep and/or sale." Exactly what I do I'm digging the...

Ya know for me I've used a couple of different trimmers and depending what and which kind a trimmer you got that " sweet spot" you're looking for can be a micromillicentmetermicron of a movement. I don't believe so. I found another layout that matches the 1st pic I posted. So I got high hopes. Just one thing I'm not so sure about is the square pads for the diodes if it's the cathode or anode going off Robert"s layouts it would be cathode I believe. Since I'm powering it from +18v I...

NICE! yep thats the one . What's your take on it? If you have one right now my pedal to beat is the Diezel VH4. Does it have more gain than that? My assumptions I'm taking for granted That's how I'm seeing it. It's a lotta holes to drill so any less is better. Alright then I'm off to make me an...

Dual Magnetron Delay with a lot of extra features

WOW. All I can say. That is a monster. Can You take shots of it as you build it? Unless its already done. And if that's the case where's the final build shot and audio's? I've built the magnetron and am curious what the pitch shift is you refer to in your 1st post. Something that happens when...

Mr. Fig kinda directed towards you since you're the only respondee so far (thats not a shot at or to anybody just to be clear) Thank you by the way I have tried to build this one at least 3 times 3 different layouts and I...

I want to etch this board but am unsure what the small solder pads that don't seem to connect to anything are for. Are they necessary? My guess was they are vias to connect one side of the board to the other but this is a single sided board so I don't know . Can anybody clue me in?

    Dip Switch Question

How would I go about wiring a spdt switch for this. I'm not sure which wire would go to on the switch on the other hand I thought of putting sockets in and using jumper wires for possible switching modes . Would that work also?

    Lichtlaerm Audio Gehenna

yes thats the one. good stuff to my ears Havent been this excited over a pedal in 20 years. There are some bad ass pedals out there ,a shit load I have not tried, only listened to on Goo Tube which we all know only gives you a marginal approximation but even thru the Goo Tube and my semi OK...

    Dip Switch Question

Building a Timmy and have no dip switches. There are 4 pads on the pcb and from what I've found I could replace the dip switch and use 2 SPST or SPDT in place of the dip switch. I'm unsure , tho , if this would work. So I'm asking the forum if anyone would know this to be true or not. yes I...

    GREER SUCKER PUNCH

Well so far I’ve tried a 386M and a 386D the 386D was slightly better but still farty with no sustain and you gotta hit the string hard to get a sound. The suggested chip being a LM386-4 no telling when I’ll get any but I’ll update when I do (I also swapped the thru hole J201 with a mmbfJ201...
