    SOLVED 401k comp no effect

Is tape the only thing insulating the backs of those pots? That's a common source for problems in a majority of troubleshooting threads. Outside of that, there are some solder joints that could use touching up and some components leads that might be long enough to make contact with...

Deep End Fuzz - quiet and thin.

If it'd be easier you can just tack a 100nF across the 1nF and leave it in place, less chance damaging a pad or trace.

Deep End Fuzz - quiet and thin.

Make sure C1 (cap in bottom left corner) is 100nF, not 1nF. It was incorrectly marked on the first run of PCBs.

    Real or fake 1n34?

That is a schottky diode. There are tons of eBay sellers passing them off as germanium.

    IC Sockets

It's like bun length hot dogs all over again.... why in the hell did we ever make the buns too long to begin with? Why adapt the wiener to match the bun? Shouldn't we be making wiener length buns instead?

Is there a way to boost the output volume of the Electro Vibe?

Nah, the posts were edited before they were deleted... and edit history is lost when a post is deleted.

    IC Sockets

I use leaf-type as well. Almost every "socket issue" I've ever had involved a machined type. Transistor sockets are machined and they are notorious for bad connections.

    SOLVED Thumb Sucker Is Unresponsive

I gotta say, for someone who knows nothing about guitars or electrons, you did a pretty dang good job on that build.

    SOLVED Thumb Sucker Is Unresponsive

Pedals typically use center negative 9V power supplies, which is opposite to how DC power supplies intended for almost all other electronics are wired. https://stompboxparts.com/tools-supplies/1-spot-9v-dc-adapter/ You can reverse the red/green wires coming from the Power I/O module...

Mini Rotary Switch (1P8T) - adjustable stops?

How many stops do you need? There are 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 position rotaries in the shop.

On the muffin, should d1/d2 be d3/d4?

Correct. There was a time when the Muffin schematic numbering matched the various Kit Rae schematics (which are numbered from output to input).... somewhere along the lines a majority of the components got renumbered, the diodes didn't.

How do you securely attach a Squidward PCB inside an aluminium enclosure?

I would attach it directly to a 3PDT breakout board with pin headers or solid core wire.
