12 range options? That's a lot. What values of caps will you use?

    3 circuits on one PCB

Take a look at the Parenthesis Fuzz as an example. One cap is filtering the power for all three circuits.

    Strap-mounted Treble Booster

that's really cool. given the size of the pcb, seems like there's an opporunity to make the enclosure even smaller.

    What's your current headache?

We just noticed that the drip pan for the heater/ac unit in our attic is full of water. Turned off the AC, and this is a hot week. This can't be good. Or cheap (no service is cheap around here).

What pcb did you buy on a whim and like?

I guess you could say all of them were bought on a whim. The ones I really liked were Chop Shop, Fuzz Aldrin, and Pendulum. I even liked the Kliche more than I thought I would. The Speaker Cranker was really great too, I did a vero but there's a pedalpcb version. Some earlier builds that got...

    Anyone here use a dashcam

Off topic for pedal forum, but (for some reason) I like y'alls opinions. Anyone here recommend an inexpensive dashboard camera? This weekend, my wife's car was hit by a car that ran a red light. Fortunately there were no injuries other than the cars. With no other witnesses, the other driver...

    Capacitor Voltages

For pedals I generally try buy 35-50V rated. This is enough headroom for any pedal, even if it has a charge pump (while not being too large for pedals).

Amplified parts NPN fuzz face range master

I'm not any help, just wanted to comment: That's a lot of capacitor for a pedal! Looks like a fun build, hope you get it sorted.

Is there a Tayda drill template for the Rangefinder?

It should work. From the printed drill templates you can see the holes are aligned with other templates (plus Robert is very consistent). @Squiblert if you have doubts, print the drill template at 100% size, and measure the location of the holes to verify.

    Tayda packing and shipping

I just put my order together, and it was $20.25. Last year I had a $20 order I paid $4 for shipping. I was expecting the tariffs to be between $4-6 (depending on if they say the electronics are from China or Thailand), so hoping my cost would be $8-10. Turns out shipping/tax is $16.88, so a...

    Spell check

I think search has gotten worse too. For the first few decades of web search, effective recall has been putting together the right list of keywords to match a document. Now, it's driven by AI--keywords are converted to vectors based on AI interpretation, which are fed to an alogorithm that...

    1st attempt at OpAmp..

LOL "fairly unremarkable op-amp booster" is not selling it for me. I see many schematics are using 200K for R1. Try a dist+, it's not much different component-wise, but people actually like it.
