Spirit Box - I put this in upside down didn’t I

Also, you could leave it like that and just get a 1590bb and chalk it up to learning. Other than the jacks not fitting it should work like that. The pins are all still connected in the correct order.

Spirit Box - I put this in upside down didn’t I

I always use a higher temp when I desolder, especially with solder wick. Use a higher temp, be quick with the iron and take your time. This isn’t an in and out in five minute job. If you’ve got a cheap solder pump don’t bother with it. The ss-02 works really well because of the silicon tip...

Thank you... you know who you are

Man, I always wanted to get an old VW as a kid. Best friend had an early (maybe '81) GTI that was in awesome shape, but had to get rid of it because it's differential was going bad. It was so loud (the broken diff) that we called it the star destroyer. Another friend had a type 3 when we were in...

    Broken DS2 from Russia?

I think it has a metal zone in it, I wouldn’t trust it. Also, why wouldn’t you trust it?

Big muff Green Russian Vs Civilian

Just to chime in, I recently finished a CW muff but used 470pf instead of 430pf (because I had them). I used 1n4148's for the diodes. I tested it with 2n5088's, BC549C's, and tried MPSA13's and 18's in Q1 and Q4. All BC549's won hands down. There were no total night and day differences, none...

Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

#goals Don’t love the tone, but it would be cool to play close to this level or to be able to do those pedal steel style bends.

Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

This is one of those bass riffs you just end up playing while messing around then spending a week trying to figure out what song it is. So damn good. To this day every time I hear it I go pick up my bass.

Dad, turn it the F up, it’s not loud enough!

    PedalPCB Podcast?

I like the idea, but (and I don’t want to step on any toes here) it’s a big community and I think it would be cooler to be a little more inclusive than just pedalpcb (no offense intended, respect!!). There are lots of other shops that are doing cool stuff as well and places like diystompboxes...

Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

I learned a lot about playing guitar from that album (and Nevermind), it’s great from start to finish and Hickman is very underrated as a player. I still play Movie Star all the time when I pick up a guitar.

From what I have heard I believe that guy made some errors on the board. And by some, I mean lots.

    Most Versatile Non-FV1 Delay Board

Yeah, it depends what you want out of a delay. The dirt baby is awesome for copping the vibe of a deluxe memory man without investing in BBD chips. The cavedweller dub edition (it's on Vero somewhere) is lo-fi and as cavernous as they get but it's not a clean delay at all, very cool sounds there...

Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

Not sure I would go that far, but I saw them open for Toad the Wet Sprocket when I was in middle school. It was a couple months before their first single hit. They were the tightest band I had seen by far, guys singing was very on, and the lead guitar player was great. Never listened to the...

    CONTEST I tried...

91 - because it is the highest sum off two perfect cubes in the given range (and I know Fig likes Futurama [because we all do]) As far as the pedal, it has to be DIY AFAIC, so the Multiplex Echo Machine.

Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

Yeah, Coco is solid. Actually, if you haven’t seen it Onward is pretty awesome too, that scene with the van… anybody that ever toured in an econoline will enjoy it! Cars certainly leaned heavily on its soundtrack but it wasn’t a musical. So now that I’ve lost all credibility as anything but a...
