Sorry, I meant to say, that same resistor on my build doc (between the emitter of Q1 and the positive end of C8) is 10K. R10 (between the collector of Q1 the positive end of C7) is 10K also.

Yep, it's definitely 10K in my relative location. Would removing that (putting it on a toggle) accomplish the same thing, even though it's a different value?

Yeah, just noticed that in your pic. Mine must be older - it's 10K on mine in that same position on the PCB. I just downloaded the current build doc, and will adjust accordingly. :cool: Thx again

Nice! I built the Brown Betty config, and keep going back/forth on which one I like better: that, or the Complex OD (Smallbox OD). I made an adapter board to use two BAV99 transistors as diodes, just like the Friedmans. The Brown Betty is just classic rock in a box.
