PPCB Super Stevie (Lovepedal Super Six)

Finally found the time to box this one up as it’s been on the auditorium for quite a while. It may look very familiar to some of you. That’s because it’s the same housing I used for the Silver Bee that decided to quit working after I boxed it up. Still trying to figure that out but I’m not good...

Sheepy Love Bee Sting (One Control Silver Bee)

Been meaning to get to this one for a while and glad I did. Very Timmy-ish sounding overdrive but I’d say more transparent and not quite as “soft” as a Timmy. It sounds more like your amp to me but still has plenty of gain on tap. All controls are useful throughout their full range as well. I...

    PPCB Golden Falk (Plexi Breed)

This one’s been a long time coming but has been well worth the wait. Probably the best Plexi in a box I’ve built or problem even played. I put the LPD Pedals 87 up there as well but it’s just a different flavor. Easy build. Highly recommended. Thanks to @Synchrony Pedalworks for help getting the...

PPCB Tweed Sound (Zvex ‘59 Sound)

This was an easy one but keeper for sure. It’s not a TS or Timmy! Definitely has a feeling of sag you can really dig in. Pulls of some old Hendrix nicely and flip to the bridge and get some of that tweed snarl. Highly recommended especially for the simplicity.

    PPCB Jump Drive (LPD Sixty8)

Finished this up last night and love this pedal! I was expecting it to be higher gain than it is but I’m not disappointed as it’s what I imagine as a real early Plexi sounding like. Highly recommended. Pretty easy build again thanks to Robert’s layout. I used an audio taper instead of linear...

    PPCB Cast Iron (Lollar Overdrive)

Finished this up last night and have really been enjoying playing. This is probably my favorite Timmy-esque circuit I’ve tried. There is no denying it’s a Timmy though by just playing it. I prefer it over the Jan Ray as well. Pretty easy build thanks to @Robert easy layout once again. Very...

PPCB Ultisol #2 (Dawner Prince Red Rox)

This may look familiar because I just built it! I let a buddy of mine play it and he wanted one so I just gave it to him. I swapped the enclosure of his out with my bare 4 hole I use as a “Proto” enclosure when doing this layout. I’m a shitty friend. Only differences I did was a different...

    Best alternative for RC4559P IC?

I didn’t see this anywhere in the search box. I’m working on the Cast Iron Overdrive which calls for 2 RC4559P IC’s. Stompboxparts only has 1 in stock and you have to buy 5 anyways. What would be the closest alternative? Anyone built this pedal using something different? Thanks in advance.

Why does nobody use these outtie DC jacks?

https://lovemyswitches.com/cliff-switched-2-1mm-dc-power-jack-outtie/ Atleast I haven’t seen anyone use except Skreddy in the past. Not sure if he still uses them. Seems to me that these would be more practical than the standard thin line that require 100lbs of pressure to insert the plug...

ChuckDBones Quicklime Girl board by SheepyLove

Redemption! First time I built this little circuit something went wrong and I couldn’t even reach unity gain! Now I can shake the whole damn house! Versatile little boost with tons of output. You can run it as a dirty Electra or a clean SHO. Not sure where this will be going in the chain yet...

    Cadmium Fuzz (Danelectro Nichols ‘66)

This is the last of my “exotic” enclosure colors so to speak. It’s the Cosmic Lilac from Stompboxparts. This is the Cadmium Fuzz/Distortion based of the Danelectro Nichols ‘66. They really released a group a cool pedals and this one is no exception. It has a little bit of everything. Fuzz...

PPCB Utisol (Dawner Prince Red Rox)

Wow talk about a sleeper for a distortion pedal! This baby will rock! This was a difficult build for me because the board is so small and the parts are so close together. It really showed me how poor my soldering skills were! I’ve got to get better. I used a repurposed enclosure from...

    Useful diode comparison tool

Please move this if it’s in the wrong location but u came across this site that lets you choose, compare, cross reference and much more diodes of many different types. Even lets you mix and match and plots the outcome out on a graph. Could be very useful...

Sheepy Love (Blue Fish) Menatone Blue Collar

Another great Od from Sheepy and very easy to build. This one really reminds me of the Red Snapper. I’ve never played the Blue Collar but the Presence knob can give it an extra bite. Highly recommended if you get a chance to build this one. My second time using buss wire to connect the main...

PPCB Candid Drive ( Barber Direct Drive)

So after shooting myself in the foot far too many times than I care to admit, including ordering the wrong size knobs, I’m relieved and happy to have this one purring!! I’m not sure where my mind was on this one. Not my best work but man was a great sounding Marshall style pedal. Plenty of...

    Substitution for 1N5817

I’m working on a pcb and one of the holes for the 1N5817 is physically smaller in size than the others and the damn leg just will not fit in the hole. Is there a substitute part I could use that maybe has thinner legs? What would happen if I didn’t use it? Would the pedal still work?

    Pelota Delay demo?

Anyone aware of a demo for the Pelota delay? I could’ve sworn I’d seen one on here somewhere but can’t find it now. Thanks in advance.

    Sheepy Love (Frizzler) Distortion

Just finished this one up and to be honest I’m in shock that it works lol. This was probably my most challenging build. It was one of those that just seemed like I felt like my soldering wasn’t flowing. Got to where I install the switch and there wasn’t enough distance to use a ribbon cable so I...

PPCB Dung Beetle (Basic Audio Scarab Deluxe)

Just finished this one up and very glad I decided to do this project. This is a great and versatile fuzz that can do a little distortion as well. Pedal was a breeze to put together thanks to @Robert clean layout. Highly recommended for anyone. Enclosure is SBP Weston Gray with some aged knobs I...

PPCB Jackpot Od (Mr. Black JDS-50)

I bought this easy project during the sale to help prevent my “ build 2 working projects and then a paperweight project”…well I succeeded but should’ve went with the Thunderclaw or atleast looked at the schematic. Seems like I remember a time seeing a demo for this and really liking it. Don’t...
