Damn that’s Alot of 1uf caps! Was the 10uf tantalum not supposed to be polarized?

This was an easy one but keeper for sure. It’s not a TS or Timmy! Definitely has a feeling of sag you can really dig in. Pulls of some old Hendrix nicely and flip to the bridge and get some of that tweed snarl. Highly recommended especially for the simplicity.

Sounds great! Did you try the Cadmium Fuzz (Danelectro Nichols 66)? It has a little bit of everything going on.

Are you testing in your chain or by itself? If the former test it by itself.

It just has a liquid and metallic top end that sound wonderful with a muff. Rare buzz words. The EM was bordering on chorus though. Do you know what delay times each have?

Nice! Another DEM fan here but I’ve always thought I got closer to Gilmours tone with the DEM than with the EM somehow.

FWIW I was very unimpressed with this pedal as well. Like there was virtually no tone altering and the tone NEEDED to be altered to sound good lol.

You seem to have an unhealthy relationship with the “smell” of your solder. Did it get you high by chance? 😂

@MattG Have you tried the Stagecoach (Barber BUSS Drive)? Not the 5 watt world modded one aka Increment drive. I’ve read the latter to be more of an open eq or tone shaper rather than an overdrive. I bought the Stagecoach but haven’t gotten to it yet. Seems like I remember reading a build report...

Were the jfets you initially used the same as the ones listed on the BOM? If not did they atleast have the same pin layout? If yes to either of those I wouldn’t think you’d need to swap the pins. The Blue Yonder really doesn’t have a lot of output. I can dime the level on mine with the gain...
