PedalPCB Noctis with clipping LED/Keeley Moon Op Amp Fuzz

Damn that’s Alot of 1uf caps! Was the 10uf tantalum not supposed to be polarized?

PPCB Tweed Sound (Zvex ‘59 Sound)

This was an easy one but keeper for sure. It’s not a TS or Timmy! Definitely has a feeling of sag you can really dig in. Pulls of some old Hendrix nicely and flip to the bridge and get some of that tweed snarl. Highly recommended especially for the simplicity.

    Hirsute Fuzz vintage silicon

Sounds great! Did you try the Cadmium Fuzz (Danelectro Nichols 66)? It has a little bit of everything going on.

Deflector high pitched tone in bypass

Are you testing in your chain or by itself? If the former test it by itself.

    DEMO EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress

It just has a liquid and metallic top end that sound wonderful with a muff. Rare buzz words. The EM was bordering on chorus though. Do you know what delay times each have?

Where can I buy soldering wire with real rosin inside?

He said it was some really old solder. Could’ve been some of that Nazi shit that was laced with meth to make them work faster. I’m kidding of course.

    DEMO EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress

Nice! Another DEM fan here but I’ve always thought I got closer to Gilmours tone with the DEM than with the EM somehow.

PedalPCB Angry Charles (JHS Angry Charlie v3)

FWIW I was very unimpressed with this pedal as well. Like there was virtually no tone altering and the tone NEEDED to be altered to sound good lol.

Where can I buy soldering wire with real rosin inside?

You seem to have an unhealthy relationship with the “smell” of your solder. Did it get you high by chance? 😂

    Face/pussy melter

I just got one of these boards during the sale. Can’t wait to try it.

    PPCB Jump Drive (LPD Sixty8)

I’ve just gotten so used to the closed box style with the small hole. I bought the Lumbergs because I thought it was gonna be a little tighter in there lol.

    PPCB Jump Drive (LPD Sixty8)

Finished this up last night and love this pedal! I was expecting it to be higher gain than it is but I’m not disappointed as it’s what I imagine as a real early Plexi sounding like. Highly recommended. Pretty easy build again thanks to Robert’s layout. I used an audio taper instead of linear...

    Sliver Overdrive (Barber LTD SR)

@MattG I just realized you had built the Stagecoach. Some really random part values in that one! Did it end up shelving it? Did you stick strictly to the bom values?

Where can we get pcbs for said pedal

    Sliver Overdrive (Barber LTD SR)

@MattG Have you tried the Stagecoach (Barber BUSS Drive)? Not the 5 watt world modded one aka Increment drive. I’ve read the latter to be more of an open eq or tone shaper rather than an overdrive. I bought the Stagecoach but haven’t gotten to it yet. Seems like I remember reading a build report...

    PPCB Cast Iron (Lollar Overdrive)

Appreciate it! Yes it’s the Weston Gray which they’re out of right now unfortunately. It’s my favorite color from them. I was surprised but I actually kind of like the cosmic lilac, matte pink and even tango green. They all have a nice sparkle to them so I’m know sure why the pink is called...

    PPCB Cast Iron (Lollar Overdrive)

Finished this up last night and have really been enjoying playing. This is probably my favorite Timmy-esque circuit I’ve tried. There is no denying it’s a Timmy though by just playing it. I prefer it over the Jan Ray as well. Pretty easy build thanks to @Robert easy layout once again. Very...

    Sliver Overdrive (Barber LTD SR)

Nice build as always! After all these years I’ve yet to try this pedal. Need to put it on my long to do list!

    Blue Yonder Schematic Question

Were the jfets you initially used the same as the ones listed on the BOM? If not did they atleast have the same pin layout? If yes to either of those I wouldn’t think you’d need to swap the pins. The Blue Yonder really doesn’t have a lot of output. I can dime the level on mine with the gain...
