    oh... and good luck with the electrical tape for the pots.. that almost always causes issues.... your better off with some thin hard plastic cut from a milk jug or some cardboard if you dont have pot covers..

    I'd also check out that capacitor while your back in there poking around.. looks a bit suspect.. Appears it got some of the hot poker treatment while you were soldering your off board wiring.

    you can desolder the diodes and put sockets for switching out diodes... or solder in wires and add a switch to switch between a couple different sets of diode types.... that would be an easy quick mod... While your there you could clip out the IC's and add sockets for those as well to future...

    same..... but the way I wired it made more sense to rotate the lugs 90 because the spacing of the 6 wires was a bit wide... I think it made them a little cleaner.. If I had run it normal I think it would have been looking like an octopus attacking the switch..

    multimeter set to DC volts.. black probe on a ground pad and the other red probe on the pins youll be reading voltage of... take not on how to located how the pins are numbered for ic chips so you can record the voltage... some pins may read a negative voltage instead of a positive.. take not...

    bwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Read the troubleshooting sticky... Then get a multimeter and give a voltage readout for each pin# on all your chips and tell us what number chip has these readings.... pay attention to whether it's a negative or positive voltage as well..

    The SBP pots are great... You cant beat their customer service and quickness to ship. I definitely prefer to order my pots through them if I'm getting trannies, IC chips and diodes.. which I will not buy from Tayda.... When I place orders over $200 with tayda I will generally get the tayda pots...
