Interesting. I did initially install the 5k6 in r21 and r22 since I forgot the pre wired LED already had the CLR. So maybe I did something when I pulled both 5k6s. I will check there thoroughly.

I personally like the stock sound best. Could be a tad more output but it's still very usable. I was going to add the 3PDT output boost thingy but decided to save it for something more worthy. But, FWIW, I would buy another one if @Robert updated the board for trimpot or optional output resistor...

From what I'm reading there is definitely an input buffer on the Zuul.

Good stuff, Matt! I had the retail pedal as well. Then I built mine and sold the retail. It is a pretty underrated drive pedal imo. I haven't touched mine in a bit. I will have to break it back out again.
