The aviation grade hook-up wire is this stuff from Tube Depot: https://tubedepot.com/products/22-ga-tin-plated-aerospace-grade-tefzel-wire-100-feet I'm going to try the Clown Centurion next - I've got some boards in hand, just haven't gotten them into the build queue.

I'd run into issues with Klon clones not playing nicely with some of my vintage effects - especially the Electric Mistress. After a bit of digging, apparently this is a fairly well-known issue, so I went in search of some Klon-like effects without a charge effect to see if 1) they would play...

Very good point, I was looking at it from being able to provide some sort of support to the family, but looking at it from a different angle now's likely not the time.

Dang - those are some awesome looking pedals and boards. Is the family still selling any? I'd love to support them.

I've really loved all of the Boneyard designs I've breadboarded and/or made PCBs for so far. They have all been great, but there are a couple so far that jump from great (A Tier) to amazing (S-Tier). The first of those was the Timbre Man - dang I love that thing. The second is this one. As...

Unfortunately my favorite two platypi are both copyrighted, and how can you choose between this guy: ... and this guy: They're both so cool and distinctive... ;) :D

I did one way back - came out pretty cool!

This is all your fault Robert... ... the poor Pelycosaur looks shocked and scandalized at the revelation... I'll probably add some additional snarky text somewhere... :D Edit - okay I've now brought it full circle with my other not Klon clones (at least in spirit) Though on further...

Not exactly the direction I was going, but I LOVE IT! :D Edit... hummmm... I may steal the name with a different critter... yeah... now I have an even better idea...

Going to have to make some of these up... ... and I already have a cheeky take on my standard dinosaur for this one... :D

Yeah... I'm going to need to learn to manufacture diodes in my spare time it appears... :ROFLMAO:

I'd recently done a King of Tone... and I have a King of Tone related layout that I've been working on behind the scenes (which isn't quite ready for the full light of day), but I hadn't done a Prince of Tone... so I figured it was time to fix that... For this build I'm using a PCB laid out...

Thanks everyone!!! The graphics are all UV from Tayda. I'm going to take the advice from @Alan W and try it with one of my humbucker... or even my P90 guitar and see what difference it makes through my Marshall and my Vox. Don't know about the BP-1, but as for learning EasyEDA - YES - I really...

Rather than posting a separate build report (though there is a separate blog link) I went ahead and added the Albini mod version of the pedal to the report above! :D

When I was first learning to use EasyEDA I wanted a couple of straightforward designs to practice on, so I decided to take a crack at laying out the Harmonic Percolator... with a dinosaur twist, of course! I neglected to get a good shot of the PCB before I dropped it in the enclosure, so I...

Honestly that's what took the longest - especially the capacitors. I had to sort through a LOT of parts...

I'd posted just the populated PCB on the Boneyard forum - but after testing out Chuck's "Mona Lisa Simpson OD" - I knew I had to get it built up... The layout itself is fairly simple as there aren't too many components. There's only 12 resistors and 8 capacitors on the main board. Throw in a...

I just received a big order... only issue is I forgot to include a hole in the drill template for one of the designs...

Yeah, the added controls are a nice bonus - I highly recommend it.

I've never actually done more than about 6 at once, but I do assembly line at least the PCB population. I do resistors in batches of 10-15 or so... depending on what the spacing of the board will tolerate. Robert's perfectly linear layouts lend themselves to doing more than 15 at a time... my...
