    Electrovibe breakout boards

Unfortunately I’ve never built the Electrovibe. So I don’t have one on hand to be more helpful. But you might be able to trace where everything is connected on the breadboard. Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable chimes in. If the on/off switch is the standard wiring, you can look at other...

    Electrovibe breakout boards

The speed switch is different than the standard 3pdt board. The other one might be the same. I know the breakout boards look nicer, but you can wire directly to the foot switch.

    What's on the workbench?

30 degrees is the optimal angle for amp like harmonics.

    Chauffeur (Daily Driver)

Thanks! I’m pleasantly surprised by this pedal. It covers a lot of ground. I was wondering if it was going to be over engineered, but whatever they did works. The knobs make this pedal. I’m really happy with how the design turned out

    Deflector Reverb

Thanks! When I decided on a wizard theme I knew the only thing that would do was a LOTR pedal. Specifically, Gandalf and the balrog.

    Arche Build

Good to know! I’ll have to add it to the list. Perhaps with a few simulcast and duo cast boards. I have a vero build on my troubleshooting shelf. But I’d rather the smaller footprint of the simulcast.

So I did hear some bass cut but not a lot. I can still tell that I have a fuzz face running into the chauffeur. So the bass cut wasn’t an issue. I should mention that I play a S/S telecaster. They aren’t really known for there low end.

    Arche Build

@Dan0h have you tried stacking pedals before the arche

that is an old Mercedes, good eye! I honestly haven't paid much attention to how it interacts with bass from stacking pedals. When I get a moment I'll try it out and report back.

    Chauffeur (Daily Driver)

Here is the last of my recent builds. I was curious to see what all the fuss was about, and I wasn't disappointed. this pedal covers a lot of ground. I currently have it set as a low gain pedal. I stack the pale horse and the fuchsia into the chauffeur and can get many shades of loud. I'm still...

    Deflector Reverb

Thanks! Also, I never knew animators used silhouettes for character recognition. Though it makes sense. the wizard was a copied silhouette that had all the right Gandalf bits. you know a hat, sword, and staff. The balrog was a picture, actually the only picture I could find that was from the...

    Deflector Reverb

This is my first Fv-1 to hand solder. like many have said, I thought it was going to be more challenging to solder than it was. I took my time, and the advice of many on this forum and was able to solder it without an issue. however, my 1uf caps were far too large so I had to lay several caps on...

Help modding Pendulum Harmonic Tremolo schematic, switches for in phase and low pass unaffected?

You can also take a look at the cardinal harmonic tremolo schematic. It has a similar feature set. The harmonic/bright/regular trem setting is done with a toggle switch opposed to the twin peaks rotary switch. Both are good tremolos and can give you ideas on how to implement what you are...

    Vfe Pale Horse

This was my first attempt at designing a UV print. My three-year-old helped me scratch the uv print on this one. I'm not sure what he did, but you live and you learn. anyways, this pedal took me just over two years to build. I started it before the world shutdown and finished it a week ago. I...

    Chimera Preamp (son of ben)

There’s far more qualified people to ask. But I would suggest taking it slow, use tweezers to position the piece. I found it beneficial to Tim one pad so that I could place and solder the component. Check continuity. I wish I had something to magnify the board whether that be a pair of glasses...

    Fuchsia fuzz

Here is my Fuchsia Fuzz. I do like the fuzz. I like the versatility that the clipping control offers however, most settings I've used I either have if fully CCW or 9:00. Like others have said this. can cover a lot of range from OD to distortion to Fuzz. I used a 2n385 with a low hfe, I tested a...

    Chimera Preamp (son of ben)

This pedal lives up to the hype. This was my first SMD project! I used it to build up to building an FV-1. Though, I think SMD transistors are more challenging to solder by hand, as they're so small and shift easily. Anyways, this went together fairly easily. I took my time with the j201's and...

    Gravitation Reverb

Thanks! It was an interesting process learning how to use A few different design software programs before settling on affinity designer. I’m not really artistic but it was fun pretending for a while. I didn’t think I would enjoy designing artwork for a pedal, but I did. Maybe one day I’ll learn...

    Gravitation Reverb

The first of a few built I'll be posting. This one is the gravitation reverb based on the levitation from earthquaker. Its a nice little reverb, it's supposed to do the plate reverb but its a Belton brick verb so it does the Belton thing well. with the simple layout you can cover quite a bit of...

Need some advice for faceplates design

I used to have a P.O. Box. But it’s far too much hassle to go across the boarder for a five minute trip. At least it is in BC. I believe it was USPS, but if I remember the tracking details it went to global post at some point and then after it cleared customs it went to Canada post.
