Help fixing LFO tick on Phase 45

I know LFO tick is common on this type of circuit and has been addressed in PedalPCB boards. Can anyone help solve this issue?

Can anyone critique this wiring layout?

I'm really looking to make the offboard wiring less cluttered. I hate that the PCB's I bought only have 4 pads for offboard wiring. I guess we're blessed with how well PedalPCB boards are laid out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SOLVED Can some one please tell me what is going on?

I've got an issue, I'm getting crazy oscillation on a phase 45 PCB I built (watch youtube video). I've tried wiring every which way, cleaning flux residue, switching the IC's, looking for cold joints. I can't seem to figure out what the issue is. The only thing I knowingly did wrong was...

    Help Wiring 2-in-1 Pedal

Any Idea how I could wire these two pedals into one enclosure without 3PDT breakouts? The 4 wires at the bottom of each PCB are (in order from left to right) Input, +9v, -, Output. Also would need to include an LED in there somewhere since these PCBs don't have LED pads. Thanks!

OTHER Feature Requested for Rearranging Holes

I’ve sent an email to Hugo about adding a feature to the tayda drill tool that allows you to drag and drop holes around on your list so that projects with a large amounts of holes can be more easily edited/organized. Hoping this one comes to life!

    1590xx 2-in-1 | Fuzz & Vibe

I finished this project way back at the end of summer, but I'm just now getting around to posting about the final results. It's a run of promotional pedals I put together for a band that graduated from the same university that I go to. I think I made 7 of these total. I only had about a month...

    Input Impedance in Buffer

I'm building this buffer pcb from generalguitargadgets.com to put in a junction box for my pedalboard. Mason from vertex effects swears by a 1m input impedance for buffers and a low output impedance. Judging by this schematic, I'm assuming this design has a 2.2m impedance (based on r4 and r6)...

Fuzzy Fox and Abyss 2-in-1 (wiring nightmare!)

I’m doing a small run of pedals for a friends band. They were inspired by a sound they got in the studio, so they wanted to make a few pedals to capture that sound for themselves and as a promotional item for their upcoming album release. This is the very sloppy prototype I made until I get the...

How To Make Amentum Boost Louder (one knob boost)

I also built this amentum boost but would like to get a little more juice out of it. How could I do this?

How to make a derm fuzz quieter (one knob fuzz)

I have built this derm fuzz and unity gain is really low. Around 8-9 o clock. Is there anyway to subtract volume so that it is not ear piercing loud past noon?

    Pedal Board Junction Box Switching

I bought this buffer pcb off of general guitar gadgets and I was wondering if anyone could give any suggestions for switching options. I would like to have two toggle switches to allow either the input or output buffers to be bypassed. How would I go about that? Would that be useful, or should I...

Converting Drill Templates to Coordinates for Tayda Drill Service

Does anyone know of a way to take the drill templates from the build docs and find useable values to input into the Tayda Drill Service? I have been messing around in Inkscape and have not gotten very far.

    Sending Drill Templates to Tayda

Does anyone know if the drill templates provided in the build docs are supported for Tayda custom drilling? Or, does anyone have tips on taking that and modifying the document so that it is compatible with the service? I am getting better and better at being more precise when drilling, but...

Paragon Mini Picking Up Radio Frequencies

I built this one during quarantine, and it picks up radio frequencies on both circuits hat are VERY loud and noticeable, it makes the pedal almost unusable. Increasing the volume knob increases the volume of the radio station. I brought it college with me this semester, and I guess since we are...

    Moonshot Tremolo

Finished building the Moonshot PCB last night it’s for one of my friends who plays in another band at the college I go to. It sounds great! This is the first time I’ve played with a tremolo let alone built one. I think he’ll dig it. I left the enclosure blank because he said he wanted to give a...

    Distortion 250 Problems

I just finished a Distortion 250 build and I have problems with the level and gain. I have to turn the volume pot all the way up to get close to unity gain and the gain pot has basically no response until the last 10%. When you get to that point there is a giant leap in gain. When I first put...

    Kliché Overdrive

Just finished up the kliché build. This one sounds killer! I used a Gorva s90 enclosure that I polished to a somewhat mirror finish. The knobs are the Klon clones from lovemyswiitches.com. I used the new kliché 3pdt breakout board too. Finally, I socketed the germanium diodes just in case I...

Tommy III W/ Wooden Storage Box

I decided to build two of my best friends pedals for Christmas. Neither of them are huge pedal guys, but figured they needed at least a nice overdrive in their lives. I ended up going for the Tommy III for both of them and both of their favorite colors are forest green, so I took influence from...

Transistor Matching - Does It Always Need To Be Done?

When I buy transistors off of TAYDA I usually just get the exact number of the type I need and socket them into the pcbs. For instance, if one of my builds calls for two B549C transistors, can I just buy two and plop them in, or do I need to order a few and test and match them?

    Paragon Mini “The King”

Just finished up the paragon mini build. I think this one turned out pretty good! I went all out and used the NOS diodes and everything. Sounds killer. I also used the gorva, pro footswitches that I got off of lovemyswitches.com. For the enclosure, I sanded it down to 400 grit to give it a nice...
