    Glory Hole Coordinates

I would like to order a Tayda pre drilled enclosure for the Glory Hole Overdrive but need the "coordinates." This information is included with some of the projects and others not. Does anyone have that information?

    Frost drive hot charge pump.

I would like to start off by saying that I’ve built 10 of this exact design with zero issues of this nature. I finished this pedal last night. Sounded fantastic with no issues. Plugged in this evening only to get no sound but smell something burning and realized that something was wrong. I did...

    Solenoid Overdrive Capacitor question

I am about to build this particular circuit but notice the schematic calls for 3 capacitors which says "BP" yet clearly has the symbols for polarized caps. Which type is preferred? Can BP's be used and if so, would there be any advantage or disadvantages? thanks in advance.

    Old Kliche mini boards

Hello, I still have 2 of the first style Kliche mini boards. The ones made for 1/8th watt resistors. I’m my question is this; while I know the new version supposedly has a better layout, are these old versions worth even using? How much better are the new boards? Less noise perhaps? Since I...

    Grounding out on enclosure?

Hello I’m building probably my 10th Frost drive. I wired everything up as I always do but for some reason and light comes on but it seems to ground out. When I touch the power jack, it ( the guitar signal) sputters back on, only to sputter back out. At that point I replaced the entire DC jack...

    Mahayana Drive

I was sent one of these by mistake and decided to build. Holly wow!!! This thing sounds AMAZING! The zen drive is one pedal I haven’t tried. Of course I did it with all carbon composition resistors and substituted the 712 op amp for a OP275. I cannot imagine making this thing sound better. I’m a...

    Bad DC Jacks

Hello, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced problems with these particular dc jacks. I already made a bunch of pedals and I find that almost half develop intermittent connections and if you wiggle them around, you can get issues. By contrast, the standard large battery connection type...

    Kliche mini wrong voltage

Hello, I built a Kliche mini for someone and as soon as they got it, they plugged into 12 v despite my repeated instructions NOT TO. I build him a new one and have the damaged one here. My question is: before I open it up, what am I looking at in terms of damage? What should I look for and...

    Kliche Mini oscillation

Hello, this is my first time doing a pedal pcb version of this pedal. I have built a few Klone’s before. I also know that this design oscillates when knobs are all the way up however, in this case the oscillation starts the minute clicked on and continues AFTER it is switched off. You can slow...

    Protoboard Questions

I’m just about finished building the protoboard. I have just the single row strip to solder but I’m hesitating because the photos look to me like it’s supposed to be a female part there.

    Bullrush Overdrive Oscillation

Hello, I am building a Bullrush overdrive and I seem to be getting oscillation that only goes away when the gain or level are less than 11 o clock. I changed the routing of the input wire to footswitch and that seemed to help but its still a problem. I have built more than my share of overdrive...

    Breakout board for buffered bypass

Hello, I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere here. I have built a few really amazing TS variants from this site and normally use the standard breakout board however, I wanted to try taking advantage of the fact that these designs all have buffers on either end. So I have the new...

    Breakout board

I apologize if this is a question which has been asked, i just purchased some breakout boards and am wondering about the two pads on the bottom end. one looks to go to switch and the other to pin 2. Also, i see 2 unlabeled pads on either side of the 4 labeled ones, are these grounds? thanks.
